Hi Classmates,

With our new Smith President and the start of the school year, we hope that our annual giving tagline “New Beginnings” will remind you of your own start at Smith and how the College continues to transform the lives of women.

In her acceptance speech at John M. Greene Hall last year, President Willie-Breton said,

“Smith alums I have known are among the most thoughtful, energized, intellectually curious, and determined people on the planet. So your reputation precedes you.”

She added that our classmate and Board Chair Allison Overseth described Smith to her “with love and candor.”

We ask that you consider making a donation in honor of our new President as she begins her journey at the helm of the College. Gifts of any amount will be greatly appreciated, especially those in multiples of 1875, Smith’s founding date (i.e., $18.75; $187.50 or $1,875.00). Here is the link to the specific giving page for the Class of 1980.You also can access Smith giving here: https://www.givecampus.com/campaigns/14740/donations/new

Thank you to so many classmates who have made a gift to Smith in the past. I  hope you will continue your steadfast support at this time of new beginnings..
